This is the formal invitation to the Canadian Orchid Congress’s (COC) 30th Annual General Meeting (AGM) that will take place on April 9th, 2017 from 10am to noon Mountain Standard Time (MDT).
Time: 10am – noon Mountain Daylight Time 9-11am Pacific Daylight Time/ 11am-1pm Central Daylight Time/ noon-2pm Eastern Daylight Time/ 1-3pm Atlantic Daylight Time
Similar to last year, this AGM will be conducted online via Go-To meeting. The Orchid Society of Alberta in Edmonton also graciously agreed to host our AGM at their 40th Anniversary Show-. As Go-To meeting continues to be our main platform for the AGM, in-person attendance is not mandatory, but encouraged.
Your attendance electronically, physically or through a proxy assignment to another attendee is important. Please confirm your attendance or otherwise by email to Inge Poot, COC Secretary at ingepoot@capricornview.com before March 17th, 2017.
Should you choose to assign proxy voting rights to another attendee, please advise Inge as well. Your society’s President needs to confirm your status as an official delegate so please ensure you cc your society’s President on your RSVP email.
Further information (i.e. Agenda, dial-in details. location of the meeting at Orchid Fair, list of recommend accommodation options, etc.) will be provided to all attendees once registration is completed.
